Dr Asha Herbert

As a GP, Asha has a wealth of experience in General Practice and Acute Medicine.

Qualifying in 1996, she has spent a number of years learning the art of medicine, through her NHS work in numerous hospitals around London and within Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Born out of a frustration with the conventional approach to chronic

health and a belief in good nutrition being the foundation of good health (growing as much meat, eggs, fruit and vegetables as she can herself), she has developed a grounding and comprehensive understanding in Functional Medicine.
She will offer a scientifically-based holistic approach to your health and vitality and will help empower you to take back control of your wellness.

Having completed the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMPC), Asha is continuing to gain up to date knowledge via conferences, Functional Medicine forums, and webinars.

Outside of work, Asha is a busy mother of two young girls, a runner and yoga participant. To help her relax and sleep well she can often be found in the polytunnel at home or in the kitchen. Find out more about her here: www.drashaherbert.life
